We sell two kinds of mochilas. Both are woven with SINGLE THREAD by the Wayuu women, using fine Colombian cotton with tight knit for exceptional quality.
Some of our bags include Colombian government certification badge. These bags have been made in process that is accredited to be of the tightest standards.
The women of the Wayuu tribe earn respect in their tribe by making quality mochilas and only the most respected members of tribe are allowed to make the most complex design.
Our CERTIFIED ARTISAN has her own local community where these selected Wayuu women weave our mochilas.
