Arhuaca Mochila or Tutu Mochila is a popular Colombian artisan bag made by the indigenous Arhuaco people of the Sierra Nevada in Colombia. In recent years, the bags have turned into a cultural symbol for Colombian identity.
These bags are made with sheep’s wool and show Arhuaco’s exquisite craftsmanship. The bags usually carry indigenous drawings or representations of animals and other objects of their cosmology.
